Cannabichromene (CBC)

Cannabichromene (CBC) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. It is one of the hundreds of cannabinoids present in cannabis, second only to THC and CBD in abundance. Unlike THC, CBC does not produce intoxicating effects, making it of interest for its potential therapeutic benefits. Research suggests that CBC may have anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antibacterial properties. It is also being studied for its possible role in promoting brain growth (neurogenesis), reducing pain, and combating depression and anxiety. Like other cannabinoids, CBC is thought to work in synergy with other components of the cannabis plant, contributing to the entourage effect which enhances the therapeutic effects of cannabis.
